Man of the Match - Jon McLaughlin (7.8)
When you're playing the bottom team in the division whilst pushing for automatic promotion, you don't expect your goal keeper to be your top performer. That was the case yesterday, with McLaughlin - quite typically - bailing out our defence with two or three top stops.

Wimbledon will feel a little agrieved to come away with no points and that's largely thanks to our keeper. Simon even suggested in his comment that McLaughlin could be our "Player of the season already", and we've still got 18 games to go.

Here are a couple other comments kindly left for us further highlighting how crucial McLaughlin was in our win;

Some fine saves and strong claims from crosses, could’ve released the ball sooner on a couple of occasions for a counter attack - Anonymous

Kept us in the game with a couple of good saves - Billy patterson

Thank goodness we had him - Anonymous

Second place - Lewis Morgan (7.0)
Both debutants scored high in the ratings with Grant Leadbitter missing out on the top two by 0.2 points. Morgan was the man who impressed with his ability and decision making. Our wingers have been predictable of late, so it's encouraging that Morgan added more ingenuity to our attacking play having only been with the club a few days.

Decent debut adding control and commit - Paul Copeland

Direct, dangerous and quality on the ball - Anonymous

A very promising debut. Very direct in possession and often an end product when he reeased the ball. He should get better as he gets to know is team mates - Midlands Mackem

Last place - Charlie Wyke (4.3)
Wyke has to be careful as fans will already be making their mind up on him. In his defence, he is getting marked out of games and getting absolutely no help from his team mates. When we are lumping long balls to him, we aren't getting any support so even if he was to win the aerial battle it's highly unlikely we retain possession.  As you can probably guess by the rating, most of the comments were not the most complimentary;

Well off the pace, doesn't hold the ball up, doesn't win sufficient balls in the air. Sorry but not good enough. - Kenny R

Really felt for him today, did well enough, but why on earth are we ALWAYS trying to get the ball to him in the air is beyond me, get the ball to his feet ffs and for gods sake SOMEONE GET WITHIN 5 yards of him for a 2nd ball! No one near him each time he won the ball as usual - Agent Ashleys Bank Account

Disappointing but always had two markers on him front and back and had no luck when being aggressive. - Keith Pearson

Not showing his valuation so far. Must do better. - Brian C

The Rest
Grant Leadbitter (6.8), Aiden McGeady (6.7), Reece James (6.5), Jimmy Dunne (6.1), George Honeyman (6.0), Tom Flanagan (5.9), Adam Matthews (5.8), Max Power (5.8)
