The best moment in the history of football. That's the only way to describe it. The single greatest moment ever. To complete four in a row against them, at their place, with a last minute goal. Insanity. Sheer insanity.

For the lucky devil's there, there surely can have been no greater goal to witness. For those of us not as fortunate, it was still as good as it gets. In pubs and clubs all over Wearside at 3.15pm today, pints went flying as bodies threw themselves around in sheer anarchy.

I'll describe the goal, but you don't really need me to, do you?  Adam "I hate the mags"  Johnson took Will Buckley's perfect pull back superbly and smashed the ball home. Mags cried, we went wild. Absolute scenes. The best moment ever.

As far as the game went, they came flying out at the start and were all over us. We looked shook up by the warm up injury to Revelliere, and his replacement Coates struggled at first but soon we got into it as we started missing chance after chance. Wickham missed two first half headers both very good chances but one a sitter. Fletcher hit the bar after an unreal ball by the imperious Larsson. Gomez missed a sitter. Johnson done a lot of hard work before curling wide from 10 yards out. It looked like we didn't want to score.

At the other end, Newcastle put us under pressure and Pantimilon made a couple of outstanding saves from long range efforts. Adam Armstrong spurned a one on one but we had the much, much better share of the chances.

Look, overall, we were decent and missed a lot of good chances. BUt, then won it in the best way possible and give us all the perfect Christmas present. You might be reading this hungover tomorrow and therefore I feel there's no point me getting into the technical parts of it. All I'll do is finish by summing up all of our thoughts right now.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. FOUR IN A BLOODY ROW MAN! JACK WHAT'S THE SCORE! GETTTTTTTTIN!

Enjoy your celebrations folks and don't let the mags forget that, in one week, they've lost both their cup quarter final and their cup final.
