Are Sunderland going up...?

Luke O’Nien Sunderland Blog

After a nervy opening 60 minutes, where Sunderland failed to capitalise on their dominance, the Lads were handed a massive advantage and didn't look back. Abu Ogogo's red card in an off-the-field incident ended Bristol Rovers' dogged defensive performance as SAFC tore them apart in the final 20 minutes or so.

It's enough to make it four wins and four clean sheets on the bounce, which was necessary for Sunderland to keep tabs on the top two spots. All of our closest rivals won, with the expection of Peterborough - who didn't play - and Portsmouth - who lost to Fleetwood.

Fantastic stuff again. But this is a relentless fight for promotion and we simply have to keep winning!

Now is your opportunity to rate the players, which will impact who is crowned WAW's Player of the Season at the end of the campaign. You can also leave a comment, which may be used in an upcoming article or read out on our new podcast. All you need to do is scroll on down (you can also listen to our latest podcast below if you'd prefer) to get started.
