Player Ratings & Comments - Sunderland top the table as Embleton shines in another win
Sunderland leap to the top of the League One table for the first time since our first campaign at this level.
A superb start put the Lads firmly in control of a tricky encounter against Wycombe. Elliot Embleton stole the show early doors, setting up Ross Stewart for the opener before scoring his owner pearler from outside the area. Stewart would add to his tally in the second half before a consolation goal for the visitors courtesy of Wheeler.
Referring to the season performance to date, it’s truly sensational start to the season. We’ve won games in commanding fashion and look like we have infinitely more quality throughout our squad.
Now it is your chance to evaluate the player performances in the only interactive post-match feature for Sunderland fans. We include Johnson in the line-up (at the bottom) so you can drop a rating and some comments about the manager too.
It's easy to take part, just scroll down and select a rating for each player. Once you do that, you'll notice a comments box pop up which you can use to tell us more about what you thought of that player. Your comments, and ratings, will feature in our round up feature.
