A Porsche on water: Macan Turbo technology in a boat

Porsche has pulled out all the stops by integrating the electric technology from its Macan Turbo into this boat. Beneath the deck lies a permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering 400 kW (543 horsepower). Paired with a Z-drive transmission adapted for marine use, this powerhouse propels the boat to nearly 56 mph in Sport Plus mode. On water, that’s akin to a drag race start! As for energy, the 100 kWh battery is a marvel of engineering. Borrowed from Porsche’s current Macan Turbo lineup, it has been reinforced to withstand the jolts of waves. Need a quick recharge? With DC fast charging up to 250 kW, you can go from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes—perfect for a break between outings!

High Performance, Limited Range

While the speed numbers are dazzling, range is not this boat’s strongest suit. In Range mode at reduced speeds, it reaches a maximum of about 62 miles. However, under normal cruising conditions (25 mph), the range drops to roughly 28 miles. Though far from what a road vehicle offers, it remains sufficient for luxury boaters exploring locations like Lake Como in Italy. Porsche offers multiple driving modes, from Docking (for smooth maneuvering in harbors) to Sport Plus, unleashing full power. These options make the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom adaptable for anything from relaxing cruises to adrenaline-pumping thrills on the waves.

1.075 million dollars—that’s what the new World Champion will have to pay to keep racing in Formula 1 in 2025

A design worthy of Porsche

The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom stands out with its design, created in collaboration with the F.A. Porsche studio and Frauscher’s team. The Porsche studio, already known for designing the Dynamiq GTT 115 yacht, delivers another masterpiece. The exterior lines resemble a Porsche 911, while the interior features a cockpit more akin to a race car than a boat. Sport steering wheel, seats adorned with the Porsche crest, and a 12-inch central display—all exude luxury and performance. For customization enthusiasts, options abound: bespoke hull colors, exclusive upholstery, and even underwater LED lighting for a unique ambiance. But be prepared to pay the price. This nautical gem exceeds $745,000, and with a few extras, the million-dollar mark isn’t far off.
