He receives a 4th Bugatti worth $4,3 million: the most famous collector in the United States unveils his brand-new Bolide, faster than a 24 Hours of Le Mans hypercar

Date:

Do you know Manny Khoshbin? When it comes to automotive extravagance, this American investor is often at the center of the conversation. As a collector and YouTuber, he recently added one of the most exclusive cars in history to his incredible garage: the Bugatti Bolide.

With only 40 units produced and a price tag exceeding $4,3 million, this track-only hypercar represents the pinnacle of luxury and performance.

Manny Khoshbin, known for his taste in rare and spectacular cars, has taken delivery of one of the first Bugatti Bolide models, likely the first to arrive in the United States. A fan of Bugatti, Khoshbin already owns several Veyrons, including a special Rembrandt edition, named after the brother of Bugatti’s founder. However, the Bolide is more than just another addition to his collection—it’s the ultimate expression of Bugatti’s iconic W16 engine. Khoshbin’s Bolide features a sleek yet elegant design, combining a black body with Bugatti-blue accents. Despite being a pure track car, it’s unlikely that this Bolide will often leave the comfort of Khoshbin’s ultra-luxurious garage—though he is known to enjoy driving his cars. Once again, the car becomes a symbol: a mechanical work of art meant to be admired as much as driven.

W16’s performances beyond reason

It’s not just the Bolide’s design that wows; it’s engineered to obliterate lap times. With extensive use of carbon fiber, its weight is kept to just 3,197 lbs (1,450 kg). Under the hood, the legendary 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine delivers 1,600 horsepower and equally massive torque, providing performance comparable to endurance prototypes competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Bugatti claims the Bolide could complete a lap of the Le Mans circuit in under 3 minutes and 8 seconds—performance on par with or even superior to current LMH Hypercar prototypes. For context, the pole position at the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans was set at 3 minutes and 25 seconds. A 22-second difference, if verified, would put the Bolide in a league of its own. But realistically, this hypercar is unlikely to ever grace the legendary French circuit.

A milestone model to close an era

The Bugatti Bolide marks the end of an era for the Molsheim-based brand. It is the final model to feature the W16 engine before Bugatti transitions to hybrid powertrains with its next model, the Tourbillon. With the Bolide, Bugatti pays a final tribute to this extraordinary engine that has defined the brand’s identity for nearly two decades. For Manny Khoshbin and the select few who own a Bolide, this car is much more than a vehicle. It represents the ultimate exclusivity—a blend of cutting-edge technology, unparalleled luxury, and unmatched performance. At $4,3 million, this not street-legal hypercar stands as both a symbol of success and a treasure for true automotive enthusiasts.
