Waiting patiently for the arrival of a brand-new supercar, counting the days or even months, only to learn that it was totaled before even being delivered…
That’s the nightmare a future owner of a Lamborghini Revuelto experienced in Lebanon. A driver service, tasked with taking the car for a final refueling before handing over the keys, lost control and completely destroyed this 1,001-horsepower Lamborghini.

A spectacular and unexpected crash
Images circulating on social media show the wreck of a Lamborghini Revuelto in catastrophic condition. Painted in a striking Verde Citrea, a paint option costing several thousand euros, it is now unrecognizable after a crash that appears to have involved a traffic sign and possibly an even larger obstacle, given the extent of the damage. The impact was so violent that a front wheel and part of the suspension were thrown more than few feet away. The front of the car is crumpled, the cabin is filled with deployed airbags, and the driver’s side door now looks like a sheet of crumpled aluminum. In short, there’s not much left of this hybrid monster that makes speed and luxury car enthusiasts dream.
A modern Lamborghini that’s hard to tame?
With its naturally aspirated V12 hybrid engine producing 1,001 horsepower and all-wheel drive, the Revuelto is not a car that forgives mistakes easily. Yet, modern supercars are equipped with sophisticated driver aids that are activated by default at startup, suggesting that the driver may have pushed the machine too far. The road was dry at the time of the crash, and recent weather conditions in Beirut were relatively mild, around 63-66°F. Was it overenthusiasm, poor power management, or just a loss of control? It’s impossible to know for now. It remains unclear whether the road conditions played a role or if the driver tried to avoid an obstacle. But one thing is certain: this Revuelto will never see the road again…
Two years of waiting to get a Revuelto
This Lamborghini Revuelto was one of only four units in Lebanon, a country where supercars are far from common. Unfortunately, that number is now down by one. To make matters worse, demand for this model is so high that it’s already sold out for the next two years. Lamborghini is struggling to keep up with the demand for the Revuelto, the worthy successor to the Aventador, a true icon in automotive history. Currently, this model sells for around $750,000 on the used market. For the original owner, who had been eagerly awaiting his mechanical masterpiece, all that’s left is to hope that another unit will be allocated to him… or to restart the waiting process from scratch.
This article explores the spectacular crash of a Lamborghini Revuelto that was destroyed before even being delivered in Lebanon, highlighting the challenges of controlling such a powerful supercar and the rarity of this already sold-out model. A frustrating situation for its owner, who never even got the chance to drive it once.
